Agetarô travaille dans un restaurant familial réputé pour servir les meilleurs tonkatsu de Tokyo. Las, cela ne lui suffit plus de cuisiner cette spécialité à base de porc pané. En livrant une commande dans une boîte de nuit, il prend conscience de la proximité entre le groove d’un DJ et la dextérité que requiert la préparation du tonkatsu. Véritable révélation, cela lui donne l’idée de proposer une fusion des deux pratiques ! Adapté du manga de Yipiao et Yujiro Koyama, Tonkatsu est plus qu’une énième proposition perchée en provenance du Japon, il est à la cuisine et à la musique ce que Shaolin Soccer était au sport et au kung-fu. Exubérant et frénétique, il est le délire euphorisant de l’année !
