Le fantastique cherche toujours de manière plus ou moins évidente l’effet de décalage, qui empêche une résolution rationnelle de l’h(H)istoire en perturbant la lecture du réel. Le vertige galopant de l’ère globale est fort de cet effet de chaos surréalisant. La vidéo en prend acte, diffuse et surtout diffère des images jusqu’à exprimer parfois la saturation. Aujourd’hui où on pratique la citation de manière si inconsciente, les effets subtils de décalages prisés par le fantastique comme force de déconditionnement sont-ils encore efficaces?
Le CAN présente une série d’installations vidéos récentes d’artistes contemporains suisses et étrangers dans le périmètre du festival: 3 vidéos par jour/soirée/entrée libre.
