Sur un plateau TV, l’ambiance s’échauffe entre figurants, techniciens, vedettes et animateurs pendant l’enregistrement de l’émission du Nouvel An. A l’extérieur, une révolte gronde ; les festivités se trans- forment bientôt en véritable apocalypse. Álex de la Iglesia (Balada Triste de trompeta, NIFFF 2010), le plus allumé des réalisateurs espagnols, dynamite la société hispanique avec cette farce à l’humour noir décapant et au rythme endiablé.
