Le film
La jeune Ai étudie l’art dans une école réservée aux filles. Dotée d’un don pour le dessin, elle subit la jalousie de ses camarades. Moquée et brutalisée, Ai encaisse stoïquement les coups jusqu’à ce que son quotidien se transforme en enfer. Elle décide alors de faire vivre un cauchemar à ses bourreaux grâce à des pouvoirs insoupçonnés. Avec ce film aussi puissant que touchant, le maître Oshii (Ghost in the Shell) signe une oeuvre à la hauteur de Carrie.
