Alors qu’elles suivent une éducation stricte dans une école exclusivement féminine, des étudiantes sont peu à peu victimes d’une maladie collective. Désemparés, les professeurs ne savent bientôt plus quoi faire pour contenir l’étrange épidémie. Quelque part entre Twin Peaks et Picnic at Hanging Rock, Carol Morley signe un film sensible et mystérieux, porté par la brillante performance de Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones). Une oeuvre assurément fascinante.
