After being ostracised from his family, Koffi returns to his native village in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. A phantasmagorical tale set in Brussels, Kinshasa, and Lubumbashi ensues, about people from different times who are considered undesirable or accused of witchcraft, and who drift away from social norms. Belgian- Congolese multifaceted artist Baloji delivers a striking first feature, which was awarded the Nouvelle Voix award in Cannes.
