The movie

A couple of con artists have spent 26 years training their only daughter to take up the mantle. During a hold-up, they persuade a stranger to join them. Their entire world is about to be turned upside down.

* Anaïs Emery, in situ

Robert, Theresa, and their daughter Old Dolio are a strange family, to say the least. The lovable con artists live a hard life as an emotionally dysfunctional trio. When they meet Mélanie, her honesty confuses them. She is funny, loving, good at making pancakes. All things Old Dolio didn’t even know existed. Inhabited by extravagant and exceptionally layered characters only Miranda July knows how to create, Kajillionaire questions the notions of family and of the ordinary. But mostly, it is a cry of rage at a state of misery that too often appears normal to us now.
