En savoir plus
In the mysterious, dehumanized city of Alphaville, feelings are a thing of the past. They were banned by Professor von Braun. The Alpha-60 computer now controls the entire city. Secret agent Lemmy Caution, sent in to confront von Braun, discovers a completely apathetic population. Removed, like so many others, of the lexicon by Alpha-60, the word “love” is forbidden. And yet it becomes necessary when Natacha von Braun, the professor’s daughter, lends a hand to Lemmy Caution. Centred around the spellbinding Godard-Coutard-Karina team, ALPHAVILLE severs its ties to traditional science fiction films to better convey a message that’s never been more relevant.
