A disgraced basketball player crosses paths with a dangerous bank robber. An unlikely alliance for this exhilarating thriller with explosive action choreographies.German subtitles available for online screenings. En savoir plus
Rui is an old basketball star that has trouble making ends meet as a car park employee (with occasional “services” rendered for a car stealing gang). One night, he finds a severely injured woman and decides to take her to the hospital. Unfortunately, a bank robber commandeers his vehicle just at the wrong moment. Razor-sharp tension, brutal fights and black humour are what you can expect from The Scoundrels. With his first feature, Hung Tzu-Hsuan delivers a film that is part nocturnal and rainy thriller, part brutal actioner that doesn’t pull its punches.
