Saturday, July 10th 2010, the NIFFF will work with the Maison d‘Ailleurs to think about new areas of fantasy and science-fiction. Three round tables will take place on the genres’ developments with the new Swiss generation as well as on the current situation of fantasy in literature and comic book series.

The Maison d‘Ailleurs, in Yverdon-les-Bains (Switzerland), is a science-fiction museum full of utopian ideas and extraordinary journeys. The Maison serves the doublefunction of a museum and a specialised research center. It‘s the only public institution of its kind in the world.

 

It is worth mentioning that the Maison d‘Ailleurs and the NIFFF are offering a free tour of the Galactic Hits exhibition: Music and Science-Fiction in Yverdon-les-Bains on Friday the 9th and Saturday the 10th of July. Departure at 13:30 from the Jardin Anglais (next to the festival tent). The bus, entry and guided tour are free! Yeah!
