The movie

The most poetic of Canadian filmmakers is the subject of this documentary from Yves Montmayeur, who avoids the pitfalls of hagiography and draws up a deep and human portrait of the man. Rewarded at the last Venice Film Festival, the film urges the viewer to (re)discover the surreal universe of Guy Maddin.
