The movie
Fatt is an exorcist who doesn’t like to fight ghosts: he’d rather negotiate with them. When one of his feats buzzes online, he attracts the attention of a journalist and a dangerous spirit that threatens the female spectre who lives with him. For his second film as a director, Hong Kong star Nick Cheung (Election, That Demon Within – NIFFF 2014) takes a cue from The Frighteners and delivers a genre-bending, ghostly emotional maelstrom.
