The movie

In collaboration with the Neuchâtel Symphony Orchestra, the NIFFF’s opening ceremony will feature Benjamin Christensen’s Häxan, a cornerstone of fantastic cinema. Conducted by musician Gillian Anderson, this special screening with live music will restore the breath-taking saga to its former glory. This story of witchcraft through the ages, which remains an influential plea against puritanism, can now be (re)experienced in the best possible conditions.
