The movie

In 1595, at the end of a war opposing Finland and Russia, a council is surveying the marshy and tragic steppes in order to define a new border between the two countries. Made up of two Finnish brothers, Knut and Erik, the troop arrives in a village, in which they find a sauna with a special power : it gives relief not only to the body but to the conscience as well… A worrying and charming movie.
