The movie

Top of the class in a notorious high school, Justine just had a position at Oxford. Moreover, Alexis, one of the school leader, had a crush on her, which enables her to be part of the popular group, and spare the old-fashioned Keira Knightley parties with the silly girls from her class. But Justine soon finds out that the so-called Cool are not open-handed in the way she thought, and that they are involved in the death of Darren, their fat and asthmatic friend. They will soon be repentant, as Darren, even if he’s greener and more dead than others (though still asthmatic), is firmly determined to take revenge. In the same vein as Wild Things, Scream or In 3 Tagen Bist Du Tot, this slasher school-located film gives a delightfully stereotyped picture of a gilded and cynical youth, to which the director doesn’t forget to give a thrilling beating. All of it making all the frustrated ex-scholars feel euphoric, especially when it’s the sports teacher’s turn to be wiped out.
