Between strict thriller, crazy grade-Z movie, and soft-core pink film, Guilty of Romance leads the enraptured viewer through a labyrinth of fantasies, nightmares, and obsessions that only the cult director of Suicide Club could hold the secret to. This latest instalment of the “Hate” trilogy, which already includes Love Exposure and Cold Fish, is unsettling, off-the-wall, and thoroughly orgasmic.
