Every day after school, a group of kids, armed with sticks and a vivid imagination, meet to in the forest to play war. But one afternoon things get out of hand. I Declare War, Jason Lapeyre and Rob Wilson’s first collaboration, brilliantly juxtaposes the imagination of children with the violence of war. The directors address various aspects of the brutality of children, all the while revisiting the familiar clichés of war films. Ready, aim, fire !
