The movie

For reasons she can’t explain, Lisa is stuck in 1986, on the eve of her sixteenth birthday. Confined to her home on a foggy day, she is condemned to relive the same day over and over again. The strangest thing is that nobody else in her family seems to notice and, obviously, no one takes her seriously when she tries to explain that day after day the exact same meal is being served. But the story changes when Lisa learns of a terrible truth... True love letter to ghost stories and time travel, Haunter is a film where horror and the supernatural dance together. Using the power of suggestion shrouded in shadows, Vincenzo Natali has chosen here to make a terrifying film without massive amounts of blood or razzledazzle special effects. It works brilliantly, as the mystery surrounding this haunted house and the oppressive atmosphere there within will most definitely give you cold sweats
