The movie

While on their way to a party, two friends stop at a hospital where their pal Pau is working. There’s excitation in the air, for they know the corpse of Anna Fritz, a beautiful actress who was the object of every man’s desires, is resting here. Inebriated with drugs and alcohol, the three men make their way to the morgue to gaze upon Anna’s cold body. Soon, the rapture turns into an obsession that could lead them into a situation they might end up regretting. Although necrophilia is a tricky subject, as well as one of humanity’s greatest taboos, the film never revels in the morbidity of the story. Almost entirely shot in the morgue, the oppressive narrative quickly turns into an exhaustingly suspenseful psychological horror tale. Enhanced by a talented group of actors and a creepy soundtrack, the story dares to explore the darkest human instincts. How much of a monster will we all turn out to be ?
