Aimo and Milla are a very ordinary couple, except maybe because they live at her parent’s place, two former alcoholics who turned into zombies. While he pretends to be saving money for them to finally settle together, Aimo spends all of their funds on a metallic bodysuit designed to hide the fact that he is overweight. His fake brawny robot looks eventually fail to convince Milla who, feeling betrayed, puts an end to their relationship. In the meantime, aliens are taking over the Earth… Lovemilla reinvents the romantic comedy by mixing in elements of bodybuilding, superpowers, science fiction and robots. Strongly influenced by pop culture, this diverse combination of genres that merge goth, punk, and grunge into a oneof- a-kind piece of cinematic work goes beyond traditional conventions. The abundance of ideas helps the filmmaker to hilariously portray a generation Y defined by its overconsumption of images.
