They came, they saw, they conquered ! Jon Wright, the mind behind the exuberant Grabbers (NIFFF 2012), continues to explore the alien invasion genre with this adventure set after the fall : robots are now ruling the world, forcing humans to remain in their homes, all the while keeping their intentions private. The director conjures up a very stylised, subversive teen movie against the backdrop of human rebellion. Bonus : giant robots, all-star cast !
