On the Opal Coast, the corpse of a cow containing human remains is found in a bunker. As the victims start stacking up, two very particular men are put in charge of the investigation. When Arte gave Bruno Dumont carte blanche to create a mini-series, the filmmaker saw an opportunity to combine burlesque with the thriller in order to craft something between television and cinema. Successfully presented at the Directors' Fortnight in Cannes.
