The movie
Supported by a chiming loop, the score’s hypnotic theme gradually combines string arpeggios, reverberated percussions, sinister hummings and psychedelic echoes. Marvellously tuned to the heroine’s endless, gothic strolling, this musical racket is as hysterical as it is nagging.
