The movie

It is the day before the end of the world, and there is no hope left. All the media are saying that tomorrow, at 4 :44 am, Earth will cease to exist. A couple from New York – a painter and an actor – are among those who have accepted their fate and are preparing to spend their last day together... The notorious Abel Ferrara skillfully portrays the fluctuating emotions of the lovers in an apocalyptic setting, alternating between fear, resignation and equanimity.
