In the near future, oil reserves are on the point of depletion. European transportation has been amalgamated into one immense underground subway system, controlled by the all-powerful company Trexx. While Roger navigates through these endless tunnels, he hears a strange voice in his head. Feeling oppressed, Roger fears that the problem is of his own making. But the mysterious Nina will plunge him head-first into the heart of a very real and terrifying conspiracy. Metropia is an unusual project, influenced by graffiti art esthetics, an art form with which Tariq Saleh has often experimented. Created from photographic images, it will delight spectators in search of visual novelty. Conspiracy theory enthusiasts will also get their share of entertainment with this film that breaks every illusory semblance of an ideal society.
