As if the Soviets and the KGB never existed, a special unit named “Night Watch” has for ever been keeping a watchful eye over an age-old Treaty agreed between the forces of lightness and darkness. After a gruesome battle, which ends in stalemate, the two sides sign a truce by which they pledge allegiance to the safeguarding of theTreaty. As expected, the ones on the dark side find the perfect playground in post-Soviet Russia. Providing the Hollywood blockbuster with a good dose of Russian spirit, Night Watch is definitely one of the major discoveries of this season.
