Der Film

The story starts exactly where we left it in Re-Animator. Herbert West flies off to South America where he pursues his experiments and tries to re-create Meg, his friend Dan's girlfriend, from her preserved brain and bits of bodies plundered from a nearby hospital. The gory romance "The Bride of Re-Animator" pays hommage to James Whale's "The Bride of Frankenstein" (1935).
